Solar Installation at Commercial Street, Newport

1 Vision Solar collaborated with Amser to install a 19 kWp solar array, consisting of 68 Bisol 280W solar panels, at a commercial property in Newport. Our dedicated MCS-certified solar installations team successfully completed the project, including installation, commissioning, and handover, within an efficient five-working-day period.

For this project, we utilised a non-penetrating ballasted flat roof mounting system manufactured by Van der Valk, a specialist company from the Netherlands renowned for their expertise in solar mounting solutions. This system was chosen for its reliability and ease of installation, requiring only ballast blocks placed atop the framing to weigh it down securely and anchor it to the roof without penetration.

The mounting system incorporated a 10° slope, optimising the solar panels’ angle to maximise exposure to sunlight and enhance energy generation efficiency. This thoughtful design ensures long-term performance while preserving the integrity of the flat roof structure.
