In June 2019, 1 Vision Solar collaborated with IWEC to install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential properties along Priory Street in Carmarthen. The project encompassed two solar arrays: a 1.0 kW system and a 13 kW system, collectively utilising 54 Bisol 280W panels and covering 84 square meters of roof space. The installation was completed efficiently within four days by our certified MCS-accredited team.
The mounting process involved securing tile roof hooks to the battens with 10mm pan head screws. Roof tiles were then precisely cut to accommodate the hooks, allowing for secure attachment of the rails. This method ensures a robust and durable installation.
The Priory Street solar PV systems are projected to generate approximately 13,202 kWh of electricity annually, resulting in an estimated reduction of 7,922 kg in CO₂ emissions each year. Over a 20-year period, the anticipated return on investment is £39,606.
This project exemplifies 1 Vision Solar's commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient, and environmentally sustainable energy solutions.
