1 Vision Solar partnered with JW Morris to install a 12 kWp solar photovoltaic (PV) system on Hill House in London. This project aimed to enhance the building's energy efficiency and reduce its carbon footprint.

System Components and Design

The installation comprised 48 Risen 250 W solar panels, covering approximately 81 m² of roof space. A non-penetrative flat roof mounting system from Van Der Valk was employed, utilising ballast blocks to secure the panels without compromising the roof's integrity.

Installation Process

1 Vision Solar's team of MCS-accredited installers completed the project within four days, ensuring minimal disruption to the building's occupants. The efficient installation process underscores the team's commitment to delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions promptly.

Environmental and Financial Impact

The solar PV system is projected to generate approximately 12,088 kWh of renewable energy annually, leading to an estimated reduction of 7,200 kg in CO₂ emissions each year. Financially, the system is expected to yield a return on investment of £36,264 over 20 years, demonstrating the economic benefits of adopting renewable energy solutions.

This project exemplifies 1 Vision Solar's dedication to providing tailored renewable energy solutions that meet clients' specific needs, contributing to environmental sustainability and operational cost savings.
