1 Vision Solar collaborated with Amberwell Engineering Services to install a 6 kWp solar photovoltaic (PV) system at Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls in Monmouth. This initiative aimed to enhance the school's energy efficiency and reduce its carbon footprint.

System Components and Design

The installation utilised a non-penetrative ballasted mounting system, ensuring the roof's integrity remained uncompromised. This approach involved placing ballast blocks on top of the mounting rails, providing stability and resistance against wind uplift without the need for roof penetrations.

Installation Process

1 Vision Solar's team of MCS-accredited installers completed the project within a week, ensuring minimal disruption to the school's operations. The efficient installation process underscores the team's commitment to delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions promptly.

Environmental and Financial Impact

The solar PV system is projected to generate approximately 5,341 kWh of renewable energy annually, leading to an estimated reduction of 3,600 kg in CO₂ emissions each year. Financially, the system is expected to yield a return on investment of £16,023 over 20 years, demonstrating the economic benefits of adopting renewable energy solutions.

This project exemplifies 1 Vision Solar's dedication to providing tailored renewable energy solutions that meet clients' specific needs, contributing to environmental sustainability and operational cost savings.
