1 Vision Solar collaborated with Riverside to install a 6.72 kWp solar photovoltaic (PV) system at Jubilee Park Primary School in Newport. This initiative aimed to enhance the school's energy efficiency and reduce its carbon footprint.

System Components and Installation

The installation comprised 24 Bisol 280 W solar panels mounted using a Renusol standing seam system set at a 30° angle. This non-penetrative mounting approach preserves the roof's integrity while optimising the panels' exposure to sunlight. The project was efficiently completed within three days by 1 Vision Solar's MCS-accredited installation team, ensuring minimal disruption to the school's operations.

Environmental and Financial Impact

The solar PV system is projected to generate approximately 6,337 kWh of renewable energy annually, leading to an estimated reduction of 4,032 kg in CO₂ emissions each year. Financially, the system is expected to yield a return on investment of £19,011 over 20 years, demonstrating the economic benefits of adopting renewable energy solutions.

This project exemplifies 1 Vision Solar's commitment to delivering tailored renewable energy solutions that meet the specific needs of clients, contributing to environmental sustainability and operational cost savings.
